As it may be true that global warming is occurring, although it is only 20 years since scientists were predicting cooling, surely we need a fresh look at the proposed solutions?

The cost of preventive action and defences is about a quarter of the cost of reducing carbon dioxide emissions and likely to be far more effective and acceptable. As yet, there is no evidence to show that the human cause of carbon dioxide emissions has more than a marginal effect on global temperatures. Scientists have to justify their paymasters by producing the evidence required. No one seems to go beyond stating: "It's obvious". But they have no proof...
