Jeep, a subsidiary of Stellantis, has launched a new hybrid engine called the e-Hybrid for the Renegade and Compass in the United Kingdom.
The new engine is available with a 48v mild-hybrid system and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox that are said to decrease fuel consumption by up to 15 percent. It is coupled with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, that develops 130PS.
