Grant, who has two for the week after also finding the net in the 1-1 draw with Watford on Monday, headed home Callum Robinson's cross to settle the tie with the Blades, but shortly afterwards he contested an aerial ball with an opposing player and landed very heavily

Immediately in discomfort, he was treated by the Albion medical staff and initially continued, but within minutes it was clear that he'd have to be withdrawn and Bruce brought him off with Grant in visible distress.

A set-back to Grant after the injuries to Daryl Dike and Kenneth Zohore would leave Bruce with no recognised centre forward at the club, although he has confirmed they're already on the look-out and have earmarked Aston Villa forward Keinan Davis as a potential option.
