Our very merry band of secret shoppers were delighted to embark on their covert, boozy mission to put a final nail in the coffin of any residing New Year's resolutions, partaking in a few pints, glasses of wines and halves on the fly along the way.
And having submitted their comprehensive reviews of the leading favourites - marking them from one to ten in 10 different categories - we can now reveal your top 10 favourite boozers.
But now it's back over to you.

Robin's bar,
Newmains
A welcoming pub with the community at heart, a warm greeting and plenty of chat in between drinks can be expected.
A fine pint of Tennent's indicated careful management of the pipes and stock, with punters able to choose from Guinness, Corona, Strongbow and Bud Light on draught.
A decent bottle / can offering
too, and they even offer cocktails on tap including a tasty espresso martini.
From the gantry you can expect to find a decent selection of wines as well as all your usual spirits.
For fans of bar sport, Robin's offers a pool table and dartboard, as well as TVs for watching live events.
The walls are graced with
local sports teams' shirts, who Robin's help support through sponsorship.
And there are regular events too, such as quiz nights and 'bounce bingo,' details of which can be found on the interactive Facebook page.
A real community pub, it's great to see places like this still doing well and being there for locals.

Motherwell
The Electric Bar has established itself as one of the most popular pubs in Motherwell - and it's easy to see why.
Offering friendly-service, it boasts a menu packed-full of quality food - from burgers to salads, there's something for everyone.
A separate specials menu alternating each week, the 'famous Electric Bar chicken curry' is somewhat legendary, and the kids' menu is very popular with younger diners.
