LAND REGISTRATION, SCOTLAND

The Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979 (Commencement No.6) Order 1992

Made 26th August 1992

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 30(2) of the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 19791and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

S-1 This Order may be cited as the Land Registration (Scotland) Act...

1. This Order may be cited as the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979 (Commencement No. 6) Order 1992.

S-2 Sections 2(1) and (2) and 3(3) of the Land Registration...

2. Sections 2(1) and (2) and 3(3) of the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979 shall come into force on 1st April 1993 in the area, for the purpose of registration of writs, of the County of Stirling.

This Order brings into force on 1st April 1993 in the area of the County of Stirling section 2(1) and (2) (which provides for the circumstances in which an interest in land shall be registrable) and section 3(3) (which provides that certain persons are to obtain a real right only by registration) of the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979.

Sections 2(1) and (2) and 3(3) of the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979 have been, or, in the case of Clackmannan, will be, brought into force by commencement orders made before the date of this Order in relation to the following areas:—
