In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 12 as read with sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act, 1949(a), I hereby make the following Regulations:—

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Legal Aid (Scotland) (General) (No. 3) Regulations, 1954, and the Legal Aid (Scotland) Regulations, 1950 and 1951(b), and these Regulations may be cited together as the Legal Aid (Scotland) Regulations, 1950 to 1954.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of June, 1954.

2. In the proviso to paragraph (2) of Regulation 10 of the Legal Aid (Scotland) (General) Regulations, 1950, there shall be substituted for the words "fifty-two pounds", the words "twenty-six pounds".
