Magic Mike announces Newcastle date and it's promising something very different; Tickets go on sale on Wednesday for Channing Tatum's live show of male dancers which is gearing up for an extra-special post-lockdown treat.

Channing Tatum's Magic Mike show has announced a new arena tour which will take in Newcastle next year, and offers a whole new experience to fans.

The show, created by the American actor, producer and dancer, will be on a very different scale., playing out at the Utilita Arena instead of its more usual cabaret-style spaces and upping the ante with more cast members, bigger numbers and sexed-up dance and acrobatic routines.

Based on the Magic Mike films Tatum starred in, and which were loosely based on his own experiences of being a teenage stripper, the show brings together artists from around the world and is out to celebrate the rebirth of live entertainment.

While many live events are looking to making a return this year -and the popular Magic Mike Live show run in London will be resuming its run in May -Newcastle fans will have to be patient as the upcoming tour date in the city is not until May 23 next year.

They can, however, plan ahead as tickets will go on sale at 9am this Wednesday, March 24.
