Magical Lagoon can conjure up another big win for Harrington

The Michael O'Callaghantrained juvenile has had a busy old season, as this will be his tenth start since he made his debut in mid-May. He has run four times in Britain, including in his last three outings, yet he continues to improve with his fifth in last month's Middle Park Stakes a career best on RPRs.

Having raced over 7f at Doncaster on his penultimate start, it's fair to question whether he'll have the speed for this, but he continues to race with plenty of zest and the softer surface will bring his stamina into play. We know he's got both the ability and the durability.

Hierarchy also races freely and won't mind the conditions, while Mitbaahy might be one for the each-way thieves.

In any other year, both Perfect News and Sunset Shiraz would have strong claims. Of the two, the Irish raider has the form on a softer surface.
