J S Foster & Son, West End Farm, Bowes produced a wonderful Limousin OTM which led the way when she sold for £1493 and 226 pence per kilo, hot on her heels was a superb 8 year old Limousin cow from J L Marks, Gilly Flatts, Bishopton which sold for £1466 and 202ppk.

The pick of the native breeds this week came when W & C Iceton, East Thorngarth Hill sold a Beef Shorthorn for £1241 and 168ppk whilst our milk maids peaked when young Holstein's from A R & C Booth, Bolton-on-Swale sold at 172ppk and £1145. Top of the stock bulls this week was an impressive 10 year old Limousin from the Iron Man of Rosedale as T & R Dent of Craven Garth Farm's bull reached 150ppk and £1414.
