Matador Resources to Acquire New Mexico Midstream Assets for USD 75m.

A subsidiary of US-based Matador Resources Company (NYSE: MTDR) has entered into a definitive agreement with a wholly-owned subsidiary of Summit Midstream Partners, LP to acquire Summit's Lane Gathering and Processing System in Eddy and Lea Counties, New Mexico for USD 75m, the company said.

In connection with the transaction, the company will assume certain takeaway capacity on the Double E Pipeline, a FERC-regulated natural gas pipeline operated by Summit.

The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in 2Q22.

Matador is an independent energy company engaged in the exploration, development, production and acquisition of oil and natural gas resources in the United States, with an emphasis on oil and natural gas shale and other unconventional plays.
