Consent to supplement the CP6 track usage price list (Class 777-1)
following a joint proposal by Network Rail Infrastructure Limited
(Network Rail) and Merseyrail Electrics 2002 Limited
We have today consented to supplement the CP6 track usage price list, following a joint
proposal submitted to us by the above on 28 March 2024, under paragraph 9 of Part 2 of
schedule 7 to their track access contract. The change shall have effect from the date on
which the new vehicles were first used on the network by the train operator, 7 July 2023,
until 31 March 2024. Please accept my apologies for the length of time taken to consent to
this proposal.
Proposal
The purpose of this supplement is to amend the Passenger Variable Usage Charge (VUC)
Rates section of the CP6 Track Usage Price List to include modified Class 777-1 Motor
and Trailer vehicle types.
Industry consultation
There is no requirement for industry consultation in this matter as the changes do not
affect any other train operating company.
