Metro services cancelled due to driver shortages; Evening services affected by Covid-19 isolations.

Driver unavailability has meant some Metro services will be cancelled today Thursday, July 29.
The services cancelled are the 21:56 South Gosforth to Airport, the 22:24 Airport to South Hylton and the 22:32 South Hylton to Regent Centre.
This morning's services are currently unaffected by the cancellations, but all passengers are advised to allow extra time for journeys they make today.
Due to continued staff shortages on the region's buses because of COVID-19 isolations, some services are also still subject to potential cancellations at short notice.
All bus passengers, therefore, are advised, where it is possible, to visit the relevant operator's website or social media page prior to embarking on a journey.
