Midwest Products and Engineering Acquires Racine Metal-Fab to Expand Customer Base.

Wisconsin, US-based design and engineering firm Midwest Products and Engineering (MPE), a portfolio company of Chicago-based healthcare investor BPOC, has acquired Wisconsin-based sheet metal components fabricator Racine Metal-Fab, Ltd., to enhance concept-to-completion model and expand customer base, the company said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

RMF's specialised expertise in light gauge materials, soft and hard tooling design, as well as assembly and logistics services, will expand the range of customisable solutions it can offer to medical device and technology manufacturers.

The acquisition of RMF will help MPE INC as they continue to expand capabilities and grow as a leader in the Medical and Technology OEM services market.
