    ...promoters charged every player £5 for every "shoe" which took about 35 minutes. This was held to be lawful in Mills v. Mackinnon, 1964, 2 Queen's Bench, p. 96. I must say I doubt that decision. I should have thought that £5 for every 35 minutes was worse then ten shillings every half hour.......
