Importation of cattle -Notice of seizure - Time for display - Agriculture (Miscellaneous War Provisions) Act, 1940 (3 4 Geo. 6, c. 14) - Livestock (Import from Eire and the Isle of Man) Regulations, 1945 (S. R. O., 1945, No. 942), reg. 5 (3).
The Livestock (Import from Eire and the Isle of Man) Regulations, 1945, made under section 28 of the Agriculture (Miscellaneous War Provisions) Act, 1940, provide that upon the seizure of any livestock the authorized officer shall, as soon as practicable, display a seizure notice at the nearest police barracks so as to be visible to the public, and that he shall keep it so displayed between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day for a period of 21 days.
