R. 16 Eq. 48.] An unregistered equitable charge on the equity of redemption of a property in Middlesex postponed to a subsequent registered mortgage of it. The question discussed, in this case, was as to thej priority of two mortgages of property in the county of Midddlesex. Henry Coney, the owner of some property at Finchley, in the county of Middlesex, called the Queen's Head, first mortgaged it for .1000, by an indenture dated the 19th of December 1857 ; but no question arose as to this mortgage. He next charged it in favor of the Defendants, Messrs. Reid, by a memorandum dated the 1st of June 1858, which was in the following words :- " To Messrs. Futvoye, Sawtell & Lightfoot.-Gentlemen,-I request you to hold the deeds relating to the New Queen's Head, Finchley, after payment of your client's...
