I must congratulate the editorial team for a refreshingly modern and vibrant approach to the magazine's layout. The articles I have read so far have been interesting, quick reads of a quality expected from a modern professional body. Without the regular trademarks of the magazine, it could easily have been mistaken for Business Week.

I was particularly interested in the feature explaining The CIMA difference, which is worthy of further discussion. When I began my professional journey with the institute 11 years ago, I was convinced that it was superior to the ICAEW, contrary to my father's belief. I didn't see how three years of non-value-adding audit work, checking someone else's numbers...
