New owner wanted for the 'country pub of year'

The village inn is described by Everards as a "beautiful and popular pub", and in 2020 it was named by Leicester Camra as its Country Pub of the Year in recognition of its drinks offer and fine surroundings.

Once home to the Everard family, The Stamford Arms is currently run by business owner Brian Rigby and his team.

Brian has been at the pub for more than 10 years and after 25 years in the trade, he is ready for a new challenge.

According to Everards, The Stamford Arms provides a fantastic opportunity to take on a solid and well-established business. The brewery says there is a huge sense of community within the pub, and it is well supported by the locals who enjoy visiting for great food, drink and events.

The pub, which operates throughout the day, seven days a week, offers food including fresh pizzas from its pizza oven. It also runs a calendar of wellattended events, which have included carol services, bonfire nights and many charity events.
