Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programme
April 2024 to March 2025
Introduction
Welcome to the Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programme (NISEP). NISEP is all about helping homes and businesses in Nort hern Ireland
become more energy efficient while also reducing carbon emissions.
How We Help: NISEP is administered on behalf of the Utility Regulator by Energy Saving Trust. Scheme Managers re gistered under NISEP
comply with terms and conditions set out by the Utility Regulator and are responsible for scheme delivery.
Timeframe: The NISEP year runs from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025, or until funds are exhausted.
Who is eligible for the programme? There are a few things to consider, such as your income, where you live, and/or if you are a homeowner,
private tenant, or non-domestic/commercial property. This guide will summarise each scheme’s eligibility.
Check out the contents table below for an overview and ge t in touch with the relevant Scheme Manager who will take you through the
application process. Separate terms and conditions may apply to each scheme.
There is also a useful glossary at the end of this document, to help explain some of the measures that NISEP offers.
