Plaskolite Acquires MXL Industries to Strengthen Coatings Business.

Ohio, US-based thermoplastics manufacturer Plaskolite LLC has acquired Pennsylvania-based optical plastic products manufacturer MXL Industries to expand coatings business across aviation, medical, marine and life safety markets, the company said.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The addition of MXL strengthens Plaskolite's existing coatings business, complements existing polycarbonate production and expands its broad product offering to include speciality-crafted optical thermoplastic solutions.
