In addition, it will be necessary to prohibit any motor vehicle from proceeding along WATERLOO STREET from its junction with Colmore Row to its junction with Bennett's Hill between the hours of 11:00am to 11:00pm each day.

Furthermore, it will be necessary to suspend the Pay & Display parking bays within COLMORE ROW and WATERLOO STREET and introduce No Stopping along these sections of road.

Finally, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along LIVERY STREET from its junction with Great Charles Street Queensway to its junction with Lionel Street.

The Temporary Order is required to create a pedestrianised area. An alternative route for traffic will be via Temple Row West, Temple Street New Street and Bennett's Hill.

As part of the above it will be necessary to suspend the one-way operation on LIVERY STREET between its junctions with Great Charles Street Queensway and Lionel Street.

The proposed prohibition and restriction shall apply only during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The proposed Order will come into operation on 16th April 2021 and will remain in force for a period of 18 MONTHS or until the works are complete, whichever is the sooner.

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2) (MARFIELD CLOSE SUTTON COLDFIELD) (T20215536) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021 NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in either direction along Marfield Close for its entire length. The temporary Order is required to allow footway resurfacing works. Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.

These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
