any new statutes, or, indeed, by numerous or epoch-making cases. What
little they have had to do they have done well, but substantially each
volume remains as it was. Strahan is perhaps the more suitable
of
the two
for
a
budding student. Pollock, who, after all, drafted the Partnership
Act,
1890,
speaks with the greater authority, and will appeal to
a
more
advanced type of student and to the practitioner.
