Woreester Assizes (Crown Side), before Mr. Justice Patteson resina v. W. guttridge, H. guttbidge, goodwin, and fellows. (A true bfli was found against several prisoners for a rape The prisoners had been on bail, and the prosecutrix did not appear either before the Grand Jury, or to give evidence on the trial , and an application being made to the Judge to postpone the trial, founded on affidavit, stating, that, 111 the belief of the deponent, the prosecutrix was kept out of the way in con&equence of money having been given to her by some of the prisoners, the Judge postponed the trial, and would not admit the prisoners to bail ) [Followed, Ex purte Andrews, 1844, 3 L.
