RATIFICATION REQUEST FOR CLOSURE OF MOSLEY ST STATION, MANCHESTER
METROLlNK NETWORK
Following the recent consultation in respect of the proposal to close Mosley St station on the
Manchester Metrolink Network and the publication of the summary of responses, Norman Baker,
Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Transport has agreed that the Office of Rail
Regulation be requested to formally ratify the closure. As suggested in paragraph 24 of the ORR's
Procedures for Reviewing Closure References, the summary of responses has been published for
a period of 4 weeks prior to this reference. The assessment criteria was also published.
