Hidden disabilities: Factsheets
Napo have produced a number of fact sheets on hidden or invisible disabilities.
These are conditions that individuals can suffer from but are not overt, and so they
can often go unrecognized or acknowledged. Conditions like depression, chronic
pain or autism are examples. The factsheets on Napo’s website cover: Crohn’s
disease, lupus, diabetes, ulcerative colitis, dyspraxia, fibromyalgia syndrome and
general information about hidden disabilities. The factsheets explain the conditions,
including symptoms and treatment. Links to support services are also provided.
