The second child of Kate Middleton and Prince William often appears more confident in public, whether she is pulling faces or telling photographers they "can't come" in at Prince Louis' christening.

Kate was speaking at a special war memorial event in 2017 when she revealed some interesting information about her children to a fellow mum.

Samantha Burge, wife of Warrant Officer Class 2 Chris Burge, told the media: "She said that Charlotte is growing up really fast. She is the one in charge.

"We have both got 2-year-olds and they are ruling the roost. It was a bit of a mummy chat. They are both becoming really good friends, George and Charlotte."

Even the Queen herself has spoken about Princess Charlotte's strong personality. While presenting a book to a 10-year-old, Her Majesty asked the child if she looked after her younger sister.

The response was: "It’s the other way around" according to the child's mother, to which the Queen replied with: "It’s like that with Charlotte and George."
