Sandvik Acquires Finnish Battery Management Firm Akkurate.

Sweden-based engineering company Sandvik (OTC: SDVKY) has acquired the Finland-based holistic battery management company Akkurate, which provides remote battery diagnostic- and prognostic platforms, the company said.
The company will be reported in Load and Haul, a division within the business area Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions.
With the acquisition of Akkurate, Sandvik said it will strengthen its position in electrification competence and know-how in battery analytics.
