Release date- 22112021 - A girl born today will live in an unequal society.

But if the ability to shape the future of women is in our power, what kind of world do we want for them?

The world has made progress on gender equality, yet it will still take 270 years to close the gender pay gap. As we face a pandemic and a climate crisis, we have the opportunity to transform the lives of women and girls.

ADB is committed to accelerating gender equality in the Asia and Pacific region and constructing a different future for women and girls. We support and engage women to fully benefit from everything we do.

If the ability to shape the future of women is in our power, what kind of world do we want for them?

Women's participation in society is often hindered by discrimination, restrictions, and a lack of access to education and jobs. These gender disparities must be eliminated for Asia and the Pacific to reach its full potential.

ADB is committed to accelerating gender equality in the Asia and Pacific region and constructing a different future for women and girls. We support and engage women to fully benefit from everything we do.

Together, we can change the narrative and offer a better future to women and girls.
