Sherwin-Williams to Acquire German Industrial Coatings Firm Gross and Perthun.

US-based paint and coatings maker The Sherwin-Williams Company (NYSE: SHW) has agreed to acquire Germany based coatings developer, manufacturer, and distributor Gross and Perthun GmbH, the company said.
Gross and Perthun primarily serves the heavy equipment and transportation industries.
The acquired business has approximately 100 employees and annual sales of approximately USD 50m, and will become part of the Sherwin-Williams Performance Coatings Group reportable segment.
The transaction is expected to close by the end of the 3Q22.
Founded in 1866, The Sherwin-Williams Company is in the manufacture, development, distribution, and sale of paint, coatings and related products to professional, industrial, commercial, and retail customers.
