Forward cattle were a flying trade and younger grass cattle yet again better than expected. Limousin bullocks topped at £1560 from MessrsWilson, Belzies who also had a Limousin heifer at £1550. British Blue bullocks sold to £1185 and Simmentals to £1170 from Messrs Ker, Justenlees

Beef Shorthorn heifers sold to £1120 from Messrs McGregor, Dirrops. Limousin bullocks topped at 312ppk from Messrs Patterson,Terrona. Limousin heifers sold to 300ppk from Howatson Farms, Heithat.
