1. Revolutionary organization November 17in Greece
Terrorism is one of the byproducts of the paranoid thinking of a certain class of people
who act either under the state of a false revolutionary illusion or under the inuence of
despair of a misguidedpower (Grivas, 2001).
Terrorism has always been a concern for Europe, so it was also included in the third
pillar area created by the Maastricht Treaty in 1992 as a matter of internal security
(Vassilopoulou-Athanassopoulou, 2017).
In Greece, Revolutionary Organization November 17,or 17 N, was a terrorist
organization that has acted for decades with a multitude of murders and had some key
features such as:
The manner of acting showed that they consisted of professional assassins using
modern training methods.
Technical means showed that 17N had tools/means that no spontaneously
constituted terrorist group could have.
The method showed that was attached to homicide.
Its terrorist proclamations showed that were carefully composed of fragments of
various published political analyzes covering the whole political spectrum.
