The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of powers conferred by sections 84(1) (a), 2 and 122A of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 19841, and of all powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the A249 Trunk Road (Iwade Bypass to Queenborough Improvement) (50 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 30th May 2006.

S-2 No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to be driven at a...

2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to be driven at a speed exceeding 50 miles per hour on the length of the new Trunk Road described in the Schedule to this Order.

THE SCHEDULE

THE SCHEDULE

The length of the new A249 Trunk Road on the Isle of Sheppey at Queenborough, in the Borough of Swale, in the County of Kent from the southside of the new roundabout at Neatscourt approximately 570 metres south of the new junction with Main Road (B2007) to a point approximately 500 metres north of the said junction, in both directions, a distance of approximately 1.07 kilometres (0.67 miles).
