The Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information (Amendment) Regulations 2015

Laid before Parliament 4th March 2015
Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1
The Secretary of State is a Minister designated1for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19722in relation to the environmental aspects of product design and makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by that section.
Citation and commencement
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products and Energy Information (Amendment) Regulations 2015.
(2) Subject to paragraph (3), these Regulations come into force on 1st July 2015.
(3) Regulations 2(3) and 3 come into force on 1st January 2016.
Amendment of the Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products Regulations 2010
2.—(1) The table at paragraph 4 of Schedule 1 (declaration of conformity) to the Ecodesign for Energy-Related Products Regulations 20103is amended as follows.
(2) After item 22 insert—
“23 |
A small, medium or large power transformer |
Commission Regulation (EU) No 548/2014 implementing Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to ecodesign requirements for small, medium and large power transformers4”. |
(3) After item 23 (as inserted by paragraph (2)) insert—
“24 |
A ventilation unit |
Commission Regulation (EU) No 1253/2014 implementing Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to ecodesign requirements for ventilation units5”. |
Amendment of the Energy Information Regulations 2011
3.—(1) The table at Schedule 1 (EU measures) to the Energy Information Regulations 20116is amended as follows.
(2) After the entry relating to domestic ovens and range hoods insert—
“Residential ventilation units |
Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1254/2014 supplementing Directive 2010/30/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to energy labelling of residential ventilation units7 |
1st January 2016”. |
