The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(5) of the Freedom of Information Act 20001:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Freedom of Information (Removal of References to Public Authorities) Order 2010.

(2) Except for the purposes of Part 2 of the Schedule, this Order comes into force on 1 October 2010.

(3) For the purposes of Part 2 of the Schedule, this Order comes into force on 31 December 2011.

(4) In this Order, “the Act” means the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
