Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers in section 2(5)(b) and (6) of the Health Service Commissioners Act 19931, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is ordered, as follows:
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Health Service Commissioner for England (Special Health Authorities) (Revocation) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 22nd January 2007.
Revocations
2. The following Orders are revoked—
(a) the Health Service Commissioner for England (Rural Dispensing Committee) Order 19832;

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order revokes the following Statutory Instruments:
(i) the Health Service Commissioner for England (Rural Dispensing Committee) Order 1983 ( S.I. 1983/1115);
(ii) the Health Service Commissioner for England (National Blood Authority) Order 1994 ( S.I. 1994/2954); and
(iii) the Health Service Commissioner for England (Special Health Authorities) Order 2004 ( S.I. 2004/1119);
and removes the UK Transplant, Retained Organs Commission, National Blood Authority and the Rural Dispensing Committee Special Health Authorities (all of which have been abolished), from the Health Service Commissioner’s jurisdiction.
