The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers in section 2(5)(b) and (6)(b) of the Health Service Commissioners Act 19931, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Health Service Commissioner for England (Special Health Authorities) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 1st April 2006.
Designation as body subject to investigation
2. The NHS Business Services Authority (Awdurdod Gwasanaethau Busnes y GIG)2is designated as a Special Health Authority to which section 2(1) of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993 (bodies subject to investigation by the Health Service Commissioner for England)3applies.

This Order designates the Special Health Authority, the NHS Business Services Authority (Awdurdod Gwasanaethau Busnes y GIG), as a health service body subject to investigation by the Health Service Commissioner for England under section 2 of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993.
