The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Section 5(1) of the House of Commons Disqualification Act 19751enables Her Majesty in Council to amend Schedule 1 to that Act in accordance with a resolution of the House of Commons.

On 10th February 2010 it was resolved by the House of Commons that Schedule 1 to that Act be amended.

Accordingly, Her Majesty, in exercise of the power conferred by section 5(1) of that Act and in accordance with the resolution of the House of Commons, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:

S-1 This Order may be cited as the House of Commons...

1. This Order may be cited as the House of Commons Disqualification Order 2010.

S-2 Schedule 1 to the House of Commons Disqualification Act 1975...

2. Schedule 1 to the House of Commons Disqualification Act 1975 (offices the holders of which are disqualified for membership of the House of Commons) is amended in accordance with the Schedule to this Order.
