[579] the king against hopkins and wife. Saturday, June 21st, 1806. The Court will grant a habeas corpus to bring up the body of the bastard child, within the age of nurture, for the purpose of restoring it to the custody of the mother, from whose quiet possession it was taken at one time by fraud and afterwards by force: and this without prejudice to the question of guardianship, which belongs to the Lord Chancellor representing the King in Chancery.
