Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by sections 31 and 47 of the Copyright Act 19561, section 256(1) and Schedule 1, paragraph 36(2) of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 19882, section 2(2) and (3) of the Recognition of Trusts Act 19873, and section 7(3) of the Suppression of Terrorism Act 19784, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is ordered, as follows:
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Overseas Territories (Change of Name) (No. 10) Order 2011 and shall come into force on 14th January 2012.
Amendment of certain instruments
2.—(1) Article 1 of the Copyright (St Helena) Order 19635is amended by substituting for the words “St Helena and its Dependencies” the words “St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha”.
(2) Article 2 of the Design Right (Reciprocal Protection) (No. 2) Order 19896is amended by substituting for the words “St Helena and Dependencies” the words “St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha”.
(3) The Schedule to the Copyright (Taiwan) (Extension to Territories) Order 19877is amended by substituting for the words “St Helena” and “St Helena Dependencies (Ascension and Tristan da Cunha)” the words “St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha”.
(4) Schedule 2 to the Recognition of Trusts Act 1987 (Overseas Territories) Order 19898is amended by substituting for the words “St Helena and Dependencies” the words “St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha”.
(5) Schedule 2 to the Suppression of Terrorism Act 1978 (Overseas Territories) Order 19869is amended—
(a)
(a) by substituting for the words “St Helena” and “St Helena Dependencies” the words “St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha”; and
(b)
(b) by deleting the words “Falkland Islands Dependencies” and inserting in the list of territories, in the appropriate alphabetical position, “South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands”.
