[449] cases argued and determined in the court of king's bench, in easter term, in the forty-third year of the eeign of george III. thunder on the demise of weaver against belcher. Friday, April 29th, 1803. Ejectment may be brought by a mortgagee, without giving notice to quit, against one who was let into possession as tenant from year to year by the mortgagor, after the mortgage made to the original mortgagee, but before the assignment of it to the lessor. [Adopted, Gibbs v. Cruikshanlc, 1873, L. E. 8 C. P. 461.] In ejectment for certain premises in, the county of Gloucester, tried before Lawrence J. at the last assizes there, the only questions material to be considered were, whether the defendant were entitled to six months notice to quit, as tenant...
