The Trustee Investments (Additional Powers) Order 1991

Present,

The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 12 of the Trustee Investments Act 19611, and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:–

S-1 This Order may be cited as the Trustee Investments (Additional...

1. This Order may be cited as the Trustee Investments (Additional Powers) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 15th May 1991.

S-2 The powers of investment conferred by section 1 of the Trustee...

2. The powers of investment conferred by section 1 of the Trustee Investments Act 1961 shall be extended by adding to Part IIof the First Schedule thereto the manner of investment which would be included therein if the said Part II were amended by adding the words “the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development,” after the words “the Caribbean Development Bank” in paragraph 52and after the words “the European Atomic Energy Community” in paragraph 5B3.

This Order adds fixed interest securitiesand variable interest securities issued in the United Kingdom by the European Bank for Reconstructionand Development to the list of narrower-range investments requiring advice set out in Part IIof the First Schedule to the Trustee Investments Act 1961.
