The move comes after the Tigers snapped up Suaia Matagi earlier this week.

Castleford will become the fifth Super League club for the 31-year-old Turner, who has made almost 300 top-flight appearances for Salford, Hull, St Helens and the Giants.

"I didn't have to think too much about making the decision after speaking to Daryl," said Turner.

"I'm excited about the coming season, the squad that we have got and I think we can really push on at the higher end of the table at the end of next year."

Turner, who also had a spell in the NRL with Canberra in 2017, was at loose forward in St Helens' 2014 Grand Final win over Wigan but is set to be used largely as a centre by Castleford coach Daryl...
