UK FDs' confidence in the economy remains low.

For the second successive quarter, confidence among UK financial directors has fallen - reaching levels unseen since the collapse of Lehman Brothers in 2008.

That's according to the findings of the Deloitte CFO survey, which revealed that, on average, CFOs feel there is a one-in-three chance of a double-dip recession.

However, this increased feeling of caution has not quenched the thirst of many for risk-taking: CFOs still have expansion by acquisition as a priority, as well as launching new products and services.
