West Virginia is poised to take action against some of the big names in the financial services industry for their stance on fossil fuels, Reuters has reported.

Six of US' largest financial institutions, including JPMorgan Chase (JPM.N), BlackRock, Inc (BLK.N), and Wells Fargo (WFC.N), could be barred from doing business with the state. The banks could have to deal with bans over perceived boycotts of the fossil fuel industry.
