What Edinburgh will look like if city moves to level one of lockdown next week

It is unlikely Glasgow will move to level one restrictions as new case numbers of coronavirus continue to remain high in Scotland's largest city.

But what will life in Edinburgh look like if it moves into Level one next week?

If the city is moved down a level, locals could enjoy pints indoors until 11pm, go to an outdoor event with 500 others and more - here's the full list of what you can enjoy in Edinburgh if the capital moves to Level 1 of Scotland's lockdown restrictions from Monday 7 June:

Meeting with family and friends

* Up to 6 people from 3 households in your home or theirs – and can stay overnight

* Up to 8 people from 3 households in an indoor public place like a café, pub or restaurant

* Up to 12 people from 12 households outdoors in your garden or a public place

* Under 12s do not count towards the total number of people or households meeting outside but do count towards the number of households indoors

* You do not need to physically distance from family and friends in a private home

Stadiums and Events

* Outdoor seated and open space events are advised to operate with a maximum capacity of 1,000 people

* Outdoor grouped standing events are advised to operate with a maximum capacity of 500 people

* Small seated indoor events are advised to operate with a maximum of 200 people

Hospitality

* All restaurants, cafés, pubs and bars can open indoors until 23:00 and outdoors (within local licensing conditions) for the consumption of food AND alcohol
