Implementation
date
8 November 2024
Background
The CPW151 Final Recommendation Report (FRR) highlights that after the
implementation of code changes to the Wholesale Retail Code (WRC), a variety of
errors were identified which necessitate housekeeping updates to maintain the clarity
of the WRC and its Subsidiary Documents.
The Authority has decided to approve this Change Proposal.
The Change Proposal seek to rectify errors in the Wholesale Retail Code (WRC) and
other Code Subsidiary Documents which have been identified by MOSL and Trading
Parties. Those errors relate to duplication, omissions, typographical errors, redundant
clauses and wrong linkages.
This is a housekeeping change intended to remove confusion and ambiguity which may
lead to disputes or delays affecting Trading Parties and their business customers, as
well as to promote clarity for readers.
We think that the proposed changes will enhance clarity in the WRC by correcting
errors and omissions, ensuring that Trading Parties' obligations are clear, accurate,
and complete, which will help achieve positive customer outcomes.
