An Act to empower the Taff Vale Railway Com-
pany to construct certain Branch Railways and
Extensions, and to make Arrangements for the
Use of certain Wharfs adjoining to the Bute
Ship Canal. [26th August 1846.]

HEREAS an Act was passed in the Fifth and Sixth Years
of the Reign of His late Majesty King William the
Fourth, intituled An Act for making a Railway from
Merthyr Tydfil to
Cardiff,
to, be called the Taff Vale Railway, with
Branches; And whereas an Act was passed in the First and Second
Years of the Reign of Her present Majesty, intituled An Act to enable 7W.4.&
the Taff Vale Railway Company to alter the Line of the said Railway 1

and the Act relating thereto, and to make additional Branches: And
whereas another Act was passed in the Third and Fourth Years of the
same Reign, intituled An Act to amend the Acts relating to the Taff 3

4 Vict.
Vale Railway : And whereas another Act was passed in the Seventh c-ll°-
and Eighth Years of the same Reign, intituled An Act to amend the 7
&
8 Vict.
