An Act for conferring on Prices Patent Candle
Company, Limited, further Powers for the raising
of Money ; and for other Purposes.

HEREAS by "Price's Patent Candle Company's (Limited) 20Yict.cn.
"Act, 1857," the Capital of Prices Patent Candle Company,
Limited, (in this Act called " the Company,") was fixed at the
Sum of One million Pounds, divided into Fifty thousand Shares of Twenty
Pounds each, and the Amount which the Company was authorized to
borrow on Mortgage or Bond was limited to the Sum of One hundred
thousand Pounds, subject to Reduction as therein mentioned : And
whereas Thirty-seven thousand five hundred Shares, representing a
Capital of Seven hundred and fifty thousand Pounds, have been issued
and are fully paid up; but the remaining Twelve thousand five hundred
Shares have not, nor have any of them, been issued, and the Company
have borrowed on Bonds and now owe the full Sum of One hundred
thousand Pounds: And whereas it would facilitate the raising of the
Residue of the authorized Capital of the Company if they were empowered
to cancel all or any of the Twelve thousand five hundred Shares which
still remain unissued, and in lieu thereof to create new Shares, with a
preferential Dividend, or other Rights or Privileges 'attached thereto;
