A MEASURE passed by the General Synod of the Church of England to provide for admission to the Holy Communion.

S-1 Admission to Holy Communion.

1 Admission to Holy Communion.

The rubric at the end of the Order of Confirmation in the Book of Common Prayer (which reads 'And there shall none be admitted to the Holy Communion until such time as he be confirmed or be ready and desirous to be confirmed') shall not prevent the General Synod from making provision by Canon and regulations for the admission to the Holy Communion of other baptised persons.

This Measure may be cited as the Admission to Holy Communion Measure 1972.
