The Aviation Security (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

Made 11th March 2019

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8(1) and 23(1) of, and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to, the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 20181.

In accordance with paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 7 to that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.

Article 15A.—(1) Regulations made by the Secretary of State under this Regulation are to be made by statutory instrument.

(2) Regulations made by the Secretary of State under Articles 4(1), (2) or (4) or 11(2) may not be made unless a draft of the instrument has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.

(3) Regulations made by the Secretary of State under any other provision in this Regulation are subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.
